Our Mission:

United We Starve No More! is an online community seeking to bridge the gap between the Pro-Ana/Mia Eating Disorder Community and Eating Disorder Recovery websites. It provides a healthy alternative lifestyle from that of the destructive Pro-Ana/Mia environment which allows for connections, interactions, participation, and communications to unfold while "pro"moting a positive way of life.  

In this community, we aspire to to become who we are meant to be; moving away from suffering and into freedom. No more is there a need to emulate thinspiration photos, instead we choose "Win"spiration photos, or pictures, images, and/or clip art that represent the true meaning of happiness, success, hope, love, and inspiration. We advocate true acceptance of each other without judging size, shape, or weight.

We are a community that understands the world of the Pro-Eating Disorder Community and are choosing to no longer worship the false goddess of Pro-Ana/Mia. We rise above her allowing our strength and courage to lead the way. 

We are regaining control of our lives, not through starvation and deprivation, but through genuine relationships. We are the masters of our fate. 

So, how do we do this? How do we break through the barrier of being Pro-Ana/Mia and become Eating-Disordered-Free? We join as a community understanding that no one needs to do this alone. 

Together we venture through the rough waters. Together we will make it to shore. By sharing our deepest thoughts and feelings in our "Members Only" Forums, Blogs, and Photo Galleries we will search for answers and find our way. 

It is time to take a stand and be free.
